Steps to reproduce:

Go to a website with a select drop down, try scrolling using the touchpad of the laptop (for instance the drop down for selecting version when creating a new issue here)

Using the latest Synaptics driver (17.0.19)


Actual results:

Select box closes and the page scrolls


Expected results:

The select box options should be scrolled

This doesn't happen on Chrome or IE.

Michael, are you still seeing this on the latest Firefox versions (Firefox 43, Nightly 46)?

If the issue is still reproducible with the latest Firefox versions, could you please check if the issue is reproducible when using Firefox with a new profile or in Safe Mode?

Could you also share with us the exact website you are seeing this issue on? Do you get the same behaviour if you use a regular mouse and not the touchpad?
