I need to manually `appcache clear` to ever see any changes to the website in Firefox (Chrome is working fine). The manifest.appcache file is being regenerated but I suspect Firefox is for some reason caching the manifest. When the manifest is served its with $ curl -X GET http://127.0.0.1:3000/manifest.appcache -v * About to connect() to 127.0.0.1 port 3000 (#0) * Trying 127.0.0.1... * Adding handle: conn: 0x7fdc19004000 * Adding handle: send: 0 * Adding handle: recv: 0 * Curl_addHandleToPipeline: length: 1 * - Conn 0 (0x7fdc19004000) send_pipe: 1, recv_pipe: 0 * Connected to 127.0.0.1 (127.0.0.1) port 3000 (#0) > GET /manifest.appcache HTTP/1.1 > User-Agent: curl/7.30.0 > Host: 127.0.0.1:3000 > Accept: */* > < HTTP/1.1 200 OK < X-Powered-By: Express < Expires: Sun, 29 Mar 2015 23:27:26 GMT < Cache-Control: max-age=0, must-revalidate < Accept-Ranges: bytes < Date: Sun, 29 Mar 2015 23:27:26 GMT < Last-Modified: Sun, 29 Mar 2015 23:00:56 GMT < ETag: W/"2ca-468315666" < Content-Type: text/cache-manifest; charset=UTF-8 < Content-Length: 714 < Connection: keep-alive However when I do |appcache list| in the browser console I see Key: http://127.0.0.1:3000/manifest.appcache Fetch count: 1 Last fetched: null Last modified: Sun Mar 29 2015 23:54:49 GMT+0100 (BST) Expires: Sun Feb 07 2106 07:28:15 GMT+0100 (GMT) Data size: 714 Device ID: offline View Entry
I switched to 'no-cache' and fixed this a while ago
