User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:34.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/34.0
Build ID: 20141126041045

Steps to reproduce:

Visit a site, opening and viewing Developer -> Network tool.

Actual results:

Usually each resource request is made three times. The results of the requests are:

407 Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires authentication to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy Filter is denied. )

407 Proxy Authentication Required ( Access is denied. )

200 Connection is established

Many times this pattern appears for the initial request, or for supplemental requests. It doesn't seem to be associated with file type, or any other pattern I can distinguish.

Expected results:

The first request should resolve as 200 Connection is established without additional requests being necessary.
You can see in the screenshot that 3 different requests resulted in the pattern of 407 errors followed by a 200 success. This happens on virtually all sites, including this one.
Could you test with FF36 because FF34 is EOL.

I used the upgrade tool to upgrade to FF37.0. Additional screenshot is attached showing the network view when viewing this bug in FF37.0. The colored arrows are showing requests for the same resource, one per color, each one three times. I did not highlight them all, just three examples.

On my side, I don't get all these 407 errors: http://i.imgur.com/YqrXwlO.jpg

Are you using a proxy? If not, could you select "no proxy" in the advanced options and test again.

In addition, could you make a test with a fresh profile, please.

I am behind a proxy. Access is not available without the proxy configured, so "No Proxy" is not an option. Just to verify, I selected "No Proxy" and immediately all connections timed out.

Firefox asks for my user/pass a few times a day, but certainly not with every request.

I created a fresh profile, but had identical results.

I have tried adjusting the following settings, however none stopped the 407 errors.

signon.autologin.proxy
network.negotiate-auth.allow-proxies
network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-proxies
This is cause by change made in bug 423758. I do not say that the bug has a bug maybe it only exposes some other issue. At this point I do not know.
Http log would be helpful.

What kind of authentication do you use?
Attached file http log
I used a clean profile and visited a couple of sites including mozilla.
For the type of authentication I am not sure how to answer. I am technical and can do research but am not familiar with the terminology. I know the user/pass match my NTLM and rotate with my NTLM, but once or twice a day FF pops up and makes me enter it again when it hasn't changed, so I'm not sure if my NTLM credentials are being sent, or if FF is holding onto my previous answer.

It is a socks v5 proxy.
Is there any additional information I can provide to assist?
So you can access everything as before just messages worry you?

The messages are normal a ntlm authentication
