User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/41.0.2272.101 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: I'm deploying Thunderbird with Mission Control and we want to get the user full name from our Ldap sever. Is there any way to get or handle the result when the attribute contains any accented letter (i.e: á, ó, ú...) For instance, my name "Fábio Soares Schmidt" and when I try to define it with lockPref or defaultPref it is displayed in blank. I tried also to use environment variables (http://blog.thesysadmins.co.uk/create-environment-variables-from-active-directory.html) but it stills not work. The enviroment variable is definied correctly -including the accented letters - , for instance: givenName = Fábio Soares Schmidt If I insert the same value in the prefs.js using user_pref with works.
