When in a multimonitor configuration, Firefox Nightly and Thunderbird 31.5, popup menus such as the hamburger menu always appear on the secondary, larger display. This seems to be recent and caused by a GTK or gnome-shell upgrade, so it may not be Firefox's fault. However, no other GTK 2 or 3 apps show this behavior. Bug 1097897 might be related.

This bug also seems to affect the GTK 3 version of Firefox.
I noticed my Firefox window is firstly created(not fully initiated, can not see any menu/button/elements in window panel) on correct monitor, but the window is moved to my primary window immediatley after it is fully initiated.
I see a similar behaviour. With multiple Firefox window open, with at least one on each of two monitors, the menus that should be associated the Firefox window in the secondary monitor, instead, appear on the primary monitor. The behaviour returns to normal after moving all of Firefox windows from the primary monitor. This bug seems to have been reported many times over a period of almost 10 years.
