Actual results:

MSE & WebM VP9 was still not supported.


Expected results:

MSE & WebM VP9 would be supported.

Right click on the Video and report back what DASH= in the stats for nerds area. Thanks!

If DASH=yes, then it appears as if MSE is being used in this case.

Sorry, I hit reply too early - now I see from your screenshot that the checkbox for VP9 is not checked.

What do your prefs in about:config say (true or false) when you enter "webm"?

Bug 1135558. media.mediasource.webm.enabled is false by default. This report requests enabling it by default.

media.encoder.webm.enabled = true
media.mediasource.webm.enabled = false
media.webm.enabled = true
media.webm.intel_decoder.enabled = false

Right now the MSE VP9/WebM code is not fit to be enabled 1093133/1115096 for example.
