Details
From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.6+) Gecko/20011212 BuildID: 2001121208 If I copy a larger text area (several plain text pages in e.g. gnome-terminal) and want to paste it into a form with Mozilla, the text is not pasted. Instead, the previous shorter text from Mozilla's paste buffer is pasted into the form). When copying only a few lines from within the same gnome-terminal from the same window screen page (without letting the mouse auto-scroll the terminal screen page), pasting into the form in Mozilla works as a charm. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open gnome-terminal and a html form with a <textarea> in Mozilla 2.in gnome-terminal, perform 'cat /path/to/a/large/plain/text/file' 3.Using Shift+PgUp, jump a few pages backwards. 4.start highlighting (=copying) with the mouse not stopping at the last line of the terminal screen, but moving the mouse off-terminal screen and letting gnome-terminal scroll down a few lines) 5.release mouse button 6.try to paste the buffer content into the form in Mozilla (either 3rd mouse button or Ctrl-V), where it will fail Actual Results: The previous buffer content was pasted (e.g. a previously copied email address or Link Address) Expected Results: Paste the large text. I am running Debian/GNU Linux woody
