Details
STR: 1、Open the Settings app, enable Geolocation, and click "App permissions", click 'Browser', then choose Geolocation 'Grant'. 2、Open search app, then close it. 3、Look at the status bar. OBSERVED: 4. The GPS logo is still on the status bar after close the search app. EXPECTED: 5.The GPS should be off and the logo shoudnot be on the bar after close the search app.

2.1 was FC 6 months ago and we have removed the geolocation requests (and e.me) from the 2.2 search screen. The first thing I would check is that the search app is correctly being sent to the background (setVisible(false) should be called on its mozbrowser, if it is then its either a bug with GPS or the status bar display. (also take into note there is a delay between an app going to background and the gps being remove) However 2.1 is code complete and this would need to be considered a security issue I believe to be worked on, either way it will need to be blocking 2.1 so if you think it is then you can ask for blocking-b2g: 2.1? but I would be surprised
