Basic functionality becomes unstable. Suggest to fix on v2.2 branch.

Can you confirm you get this error with different bluetooth devices or is it a one-off case with only a certain device? NI shawn to see if he has other questions ideas here before I block.

Hi Bhavana,

I can repro this bug with different bluetooth devices, not the certain device to pair or to be paired.
When I enable the bluetooth daemon([ro.moz.bluetooth.backend]: [bluetoothd] & [init.svc.bluetoothd]: [running]), this bug also exists.

Hope useful for you,thanks.

Hi, Shally,

I would like to double check this defect on another branch.
Can it be reproduced on the latest v2.1 build?
Many thanks.

Hi William,

I can't repro this bug on latest Flame v2.0&2.1 build(Rate:0/5).
When tapping on a device to pair under "Device in the area", the message "Bluetooth Request From" will pop up as expected.

This bug looks like bug 1122177. Since this is related to bluedroid bug. This probably needs to fix at bluedroid side and it cannot reproduce on v2.2 reference devices. I've tried to contribute back to AOSP, but this bug will be reported several times if the fix won't be merged into bluedroid CAF branch caf/b2g_kk_3.5.

Any hack we can add on our side to avoid this?
