Steps to reproduce:

I've tried a KitKat-based build on Nexus 7 2013 (flo) and it seems to work fine, so I'm filing a tracking bug  to track the progress.
I've created two pull-requests (not sure how to properly 'attach' those here):

This also requires pulling b2g-4.4.2_r1 branch from vrutkovs/device-flo to mozilla-b2g/device-flo
Firefox OS is not being worked on
