Reproducible on Firefox 37.0 build 2, Firefox 38 beta 1, latest Aurora 39.0a2 and Nightly 40.0a1 e10s on/off Affected Platforms: Windows 7 64 bit (2 different machines) Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch Firefox with a clean profile. 2. Go to Add-ons Manager -> Plugins tab 3. Lock screen and wait ~1 minute - until OpenH264 or DRM plugins, where applicable, are installed. Expected result: Both plugins are installed (gmp-eme-adobe and gmp-gmpopenh264 folders are available via user profile folder). Actual result: "..will be installed shortly." message is displayed for both plugins. Painting issues at click on any plugin. Notes: 1. Screencast: http://goo.gl/XQhpNB 2. We're in the process of removing support for plugins (bug 1677160) and bug 1687239 has removed the relevant Layout code, so I think this bug is irrelevant now. Please reopen it if I'm mistaken.
