This happens at random, but reproducible. Steps to reproduce: 1. Make sure about:home should be startup page. 2. Start Nightly 3. Search any term from Search Bar 4. Click a link of search results 5. Attempt to navigation back 6. Repeat step 1-5 if necessary. Actual Results: Navigation back fails though back button is enabled. nothing happens. Expected Results: Navigation back should be performed properly. Alternate steps to reproduce: 0. Make sure startup page is about:home and restart 1. Click a link in snippets 2. Attempt Navigation back (Back button/BS key/Alt arrowLeft key) 3. Repeat step 1-2 if necessary. Actual Results: Back button is disabled. But forward button is enabled. Expected Results: Back button should be enabled. But forward button is disabled(hidden).

Thanks for the bisecting. There's a patch in the works for this regression in bug 1150200
