Description:
When long tapping on an icon on Homescreen, the Homescreen enters the Edit mode that allows for re-arranging of icons. The icon that is being long-tapped on enlarges, and when finger lets go of screen it reduces to normal size and it's during that animation, the icon's outlines can be observed.

STR:
1) On Homescreen, long tap on an icon to enter Edit mode
2) Under Edit mode, long tap on an icon and let go of finer - observe the animation when the icon goes from enlarged to normal size.

Expected: The animation of icon enlarging and returning to normal size doesn't show any graphical issue

Actual: The animation of icon going from enlarged to normal shows an unwanted outline of the icon on the edges.

Repro rate: 10/10. Some icons exhibit this issue more noticeable than others. The Phone icon is a good one for reproduction.

This issue also occurs on 2.2. The repro frequency is much lower on 2.2 though, 1 out of ~10 attempts.

We left the video in in that orientation because it makes the bug easier to see. Look to the right of the text "Phone" under the icon to see the issue.

This is pretty noticeable in person and looks like a glitch. The end user might think it is a hardware issue so nominating 2.2?

I have a feeling this may be a Gfx issue. We can also look at implementing a workaround in gaia, or changing the markup here.

Hi Piwei, could you give a retry? I just tried it on both 3.0 and 2.2, but I can't reproduce the bug. (And I do see the artificat from the youtube video)

I can no longer reproduce this bug on latest 3.0.

On 2.2 the repro rate was low when I checked it on comment 1; I would not have noticed this bug on 2.2 unless specifically looking for it. Closing as works for me.
