User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:36.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/36.0 Build ID: 20150320202338 Steps to reproduce: 1- Added html5 support for youtube here : https://www.youtube.com/html5?hl=fr 2 - Went to : https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model.html?id=f20fe6580d69744f28206741634bc676 Actual results: Crash with a message : intruder.dll can't open log file (see attached screenshot). Also firefox went in a crash loop when restarting with that page, had to start with another page. Expected results: Page opens and an embed 3d preview of the model is shown.
If Firefox crashed, type about:crashes in the location bar and provide some crash IDs (bp-...).

I just got the same crash again on another website (http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/easy-flags-module.html) and went then in about:crashes but there was no report created, so I'm not sure the last crash-stat I linked previously is concerning this bug.

Are you sure it's not a crash due to a plugin? What's your plugin list (about:plugins)? I searched for this DLL on Google and it doesn't seem to be related to Firefox.
Loic, the dialog box is not a Firefox crash. ket, do you also get the Mozilla Crash Reporter window, as displayed here https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_for_a_bug_report ?

Summary: intruder → intruder.dll "can't open log file" dialog when visiting a page from 3dwarehouse.sketchup.com
Loic, I don't know how to share you the list of that page but basically here they are : Codec OpenH264 - Cisco Systems Adobe Acrobat v10 & v11 WacomTabletPlugin VLC Web Plugin (not up-to-date) Google Update NVIDIA 3D VISION x2 (unactive) Microsoft Office 2013 x2 Microsoft Office 2010 x2 Silverlight Plug-In Java(TM) Platform SE 8 U31 Java Deployment Toolkit 8.0.310.13 (Unactive) Google Earth Plugin Battlelog Game Launcher Shockwave Flash Uplay PC Unity Player ------------- Nickolay, no I don't have any crash report from firefox. How can I force firefox to create a logfile and in what folder I should look at ?
Flags: needinfo?(ketaklak)
My guess it's related to a videogame DLL, this URL (https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model.html?id=f20fe6580d69744f28206741634bc676) is trying to load data (probably the model) to a plugin (Nvidia, Battlelog, Uplay, Unity are suspected) and it fails.
If you disable all the plugins, does it crash?
ket, since this is not a Firefox crash, you won't get additional information from Firefox. Loic's right, try https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-issues-with-plugins-fix-problems#w_determining-if-a-plugin-is-the-problem

It keeps crashing with all plugins off. All extensions off, still crashing. I reverted the steps of my changes to enable youtube html 5 player as seen here : http://www.ghacks.net/2014/07/25/enable-mse-h2-64-support-youtube-firefox-right-now/ ,still crashing. Installed Firefox 37.0.1 update, still crashing. I made some scans. Avira : no result Malware byte : no result Adwcleaner : no result A simple search of the file I've found it, it's a 3d ripping software and is somehow connected to firefox. I've removed it's visible entries in registry but it's still crashing. It's not appearing in the plugin page but I'll try to figure this out, thanks for your time.

You can reset your current profile, if you want: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-to-fix-most-problems The old profile is saved in a folder on the desktop.
Firefox troubleshooting page was also crashing... Btw, it seems the ripping software created 3 dll's in firefox's program installation folder. D3DCompiler_43.dll, d3dcompiler_47.dll, d3d9.dll. I deleted all of these and now it seems to work, problem resolved.
