User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:36.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/36.0 SeaMonkey/2.33.1 Build ID: 20150321194901 Steps to reproduce: Simplified input of contacts at a source I want to Populate a contact for an existing source new, without retype everything. Actual results: Whenever I want eingen a contact for an existing source I have to fill out everything from scratch. Expected results: I miss in the address book function to duplicate a record - to then change it to. This would be a great advantage if you have different contact partner at a source. Eg: Various contact in a company. Then you would need to clone only once and would only change his contact information. The rest would remain the same.
REPRODUCIBLE with EN-US Seamonkey 2.33.1 (German Language pack) Gecko/20100101 Build 20150321194901 (Default Theme) on German WIN7 64bit There is a way to create new contacts as a copy of an existing one, but it's not user friendly: You can drag and drop a contact to a different address book, modify it and drag and drop it back. I did not find any DUP <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?cmdtype=runnamed&namedcmd=DUPs1150806&list_id=12150898>
