Details

Steps how to reproduce:

1. With SeaMonkey Browser 2.33.1 open <https://addons.mozilla.org/de/seamonkey/addon/fireftp/>
2. click Help Question mark after "Not available for SeaMonkey 2.33.1"
   » speech bubble appears telling
" ... You need to be using Firefox 10.0 or higher."

That is not correct. The real reason for the incompatibility message is that in add-on's install.rdf Max Seamonkey version is limited to SM 2.17 (also see <https://addons.mozilla.org/de/seamonkey/compatibility/2.3>.

There is no need to use FF, and so the message should be something like "Add-on only approved until SeaMonkey 2.17.*"

Product addons.mozilla.org might be more appropriate for this one
Well, it't obvious that the problem does exist
Component: General → Administration
Product: SeaMonkey → addons.mozilla.org
Component: Administration → Public Pages
This problem was supposedly "fixed" in 2012 as part of bug 774230. The fix, if it was one, was obviously never brought over from allizom.org to mozilla.org. Let's give it a new try.
Product: addons.mozilla.org → addons.mozilla.org Graveyard
This bug is not fixed, but if it remains in a Graveyard product it will never be fixed. There are only three Components left in addons.mozilla.org, all the rest has been moved to Graveyard, and this is neither a security problem nor a blocklist request so it fits only "Administration" whose description includes "other site administrative issues that don't fit elsewhere".
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Component: Public Pages → Administration
Ever confirmed: true
Product: addons.mozilla.org Graveyard → addons.mozilla.org
Product: addons.mozilla.org → addons.mozilla.org Graveyard
Since this (still unfixed) bug is in Graveyard, it will never be fixed. SeaMonkey users are advised to install the "AMO Browsing for SeaMonkey" extension, https://github.com/lemon-juice/AMO-Browsing-for-SeaMonkey/releases/latest
