User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_10_2) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/41.0.2272.118 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: On osx 10.10.2 with firefox 37.0. Not reproduced on linux mint. go to http://www.therefugeeproject.org/ click on explore when loaded. Actual results: sloppy animations and very slow browser with spinning pinwheel.

It looks fine ith ff37 on Win 7. Maybe OSX issue?

Looks fine on OS X 10.9 too (Firefox 37 and Nightly). Uses one CPU core of a couple year-old macbook. Maybe this will help? https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Performance/Reporting_a_Performance_Problem
