Accessing the users microphone or camera makes Firefox show a global indicator (either as a floating indicator on Windows, or in the OS X menu bar). Clicking it should reveal the sharing preference bubble.

In reality, the behavior is quite unpredictable. Sometimes the bubble shows up in the right place, sometimes it shows up in the wrong place and sometimes it doesn't show up at all. It seems to be somehow connected with the state of the Hello window (docked or popped out), but I wasn't able to find consistent patterns.
