Details
Reproducible with:
- Firefox 38 Beta 2 - BuildID: 20150406174117
- Firefox 40 Nightly latest - BuildID: 20150406030204
- latest Adobe Flash - 17.0.0.134
Reproducible on: Windows 7 x64, Mac OS X 10.8.5 (did not try Linux)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Firefox with a fresh profile and go to https://www.youtube.com/ (Autoplay should be ON).
2. Open a video list (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6Sxv-sUYtM&list=RDy6Sxv-sUYtM) - controls for video playing from the list will display "Next" and "Previous" buttons.
3. Select a single video from outside of the playlist.
Expected results:
Single video starts playing, and shows only the "Next" button.
Actual results:
Single video loads and starts playing, but both the "Next" and the "Previous" controls display. Clicking the "Previous" button does nothing. Upon a refresh of the page, the song will load with only the "Next" control as expected.
Notes:
- the HTML5 player does not seem to be affected by this issue

This issue reproduces in Firefox 29.0.1 as well.

I'm going to close this on the basis that it is a YouTube or Flash issue. It works in the HTML5 player so it isn't worth trying to do anything about.
