From Twitter, this case seems to still occur: https://twitter.com/b_munslow/status/606386795543183361 https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/9578597a-c2f9-409a-9135-d49112150604 But, I definitely don't know this area well. Should the bug be reopened?

This is slightly different from the crash in the crash report you linked to. This bug was about the constructor and the crash report seems to go through mozilla::PRemoteSpellcheckEngineChild::SendCheck(nsString const&, bool*). Please file a new bug. Also, does the reporter have any other crash reports? The one linked to in comment 2 seems to be cut off and slightly corrupt. It would also be great if the reporter could disable his addons one by one to try to figure out which one of them is causing this crash.

I'll try to get them to comment.
