Steps to reproduce:

Starting Thunderbird, new email subject lines appear in the unified inbox view for messages in imap accounts that are not logged in and have no stored passwords. In a few seconds they disappear. Dovecot server log shows no login for that account from this IP. Maybe this is a dovecot bug?



Expected results:

Would not expect to be able to see subject lines for an imap account that I'm not logged in to.
By default, imap mails are stored locally in Thunderbird.
Thunderbird does not depend on server security for messages that have already been accessed.
