There doesn't seem to be any way to change the size of the type in the side bar. I am using 1600x1200 resolution and it is impossible to make out the test in the "what's related" section. Other sections are readable and I'd still like to make the type larger.
Each sidebar panel sets its own font sizes...

The What's Related tab is an <iframe> with web content. Don't know why it doesn't honor the fonts settings when I change them. Maybe the HTMLFrames folks can vend us a clue. Other tabs either include web content in which case they are plagued by the same problem as the What's Related tab or chrome content in which case you will have to use a more coarse-grained screen resolution making the chrome larger and readable.

Sidebar follows OS font settings on Linux at least, and content font settings when we load extensions.
