Steps to reproduce:

Running Firefox Dev edition. Have had repeated requests to install the same security update (see screenshot)
Update downloaded. Browser restarted OK. This followed by a new version notification for same update. Updated. Restarted browser


Actual results:

Unable to determine.
It appears FFDEV fails to recognize application of the update.


Expected results:

FFDEV should have updated.
There should be no further update requests until a new version update is available

Hi Francis,

Can you please test this on the latest Firefox Developer Edition release (45.0a2 - you can download from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/developer/ )  and tell me if this still reproduces for you ?

45.0a2 loads successfully on update.
