Details

EME tests currently exercise many aspects at once, which makes it difficult to pinpoint issues when test fails, and especially when some failures may influence following tests.

The goal of this bug is to hopefully reduce the number of intermittent test failures due to interactions between tests, and due to tests doing more work than they need to. These failures sometimes prevent unrelated MSE&EME patches from being landed.

Separate (dependent) bugs will be filed to create new tests that would again highlight the issues being experienced, in case they show real bugs, and to better help find them.
