Actual results:

It opened in a new tab.


Expected results:

Opened in same tab

The location bar in the screencast shows a Google.co.uk search results page [1]. I can't reproduce this: search results from Google.co.uk open in the current tab.

Click the Gear icon [2] near the top right corner of the search results page, to the right of …Shopping, More, Search Tools. Is the “Open each selected result in a new browser window” option checked?
If yes, uncheck it and click the Save button (you must accept cookies from Google.co.uk for your settings to be saved).
If not, start Firefox in a brand new profile [3] and check if you have the same problem.
