Firefox on Mac OS X 10.6.8. On the page http://www.opinionatedgeek.com/dotnet/tools/Base64Decode/ I drag-and-drop some text to decode. Then I click Decode. I get a dialog. I want to download the file, so I click OK. I get the dialog for choosing the name and the place of the file. The name proposed is DecodedBase64.bin. I want to overwrite an existing file. So I click the file DecodedBase64-iPad-bleu.bin and I press Return. * Expected result : * The click replaces the proposed name with the name of the clicked file : DecodedBase64-iPad-bleu.bin. Then pressing Return proposes me to overwrite the existing file. * Actual result : * The click replaces the proposed name with DecodedBase64-iPad-bleu. The suffix has been forgotten. Then pressing Return saves a new file DecodedBase64-iPad-bleu. I end up with having my old file and the new file. It would be nice to fix this bug. Thank you. Nicolas B.
Summary: Clicking a file fails to take its full name → Clicking a file fails to take its full name, the suffix is forgotten

It's impossible to reproduce or triage this without knowing what you put in the box to trigger the save as dialog.
