User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:40.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/40.0 Build ID: 20150410030204 Steps to reproduce: - Have at least one add-on installed (e.g DuckDuckGo plus) - Visit the add-on page again on addons.mozilla (e.g https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/duckduckgo-for-firefox) - The add-on, despite being installed, shows up as "Add to Firefox" Actual results: The add-on, despite being installed, shows up as "Add to Firefox" Expected results: The add-on, when installed, shows up as "Already added to Firfox" or something similar.
The Mozilla Add-ons site cannot detect what you do or do not have installed. We don't expose this information to websites, even ones run by Mozilla. (with the notable exception of NPAPI plugins, which are being phased out) The current security design has no plans to announce to any sites what addons you have installed, and it's not likely to be added any time soon.
