Using build 2001121403 on Windows 2000, but I've also seen this on Linux.
Sometimes, when I select a message in the thread overview, Mozilla displays the
wrong mail. I'll attach a screenshot showing this misfit.

Forgot to meniton this in the original report. I'm using Mozilla against a
uw-imap 2000 server.
I deleted some messages in the chosen folder; just after I did this, the bug
appeared.
Restarting Mozilla didn't change anything. I had to delete the files in my
profile directory under ImapMail\<server name> so that Mozilla displayed the
correct mail.
Marking this bug as critical, because users may mistakingly delete wrong mails.

Setting severity to critical again, because this bug has a very high potential
of dataloss.
Adding "dataloss" keyword.
Bug is still present using 2002011103 on Windows 2000.

Happened with 1.0RC1 on HP-UX 10.20 where I actually deleted the wrong message.
Happened after I deleted some messages in Inbox on IMAP. This should get some
attention as possible dataloss isn't the best thing around.
Working with RC3 now... haven't had this problem yet

Alexander or anybody else, do you still see it in a current version?

Hi pi - nice to see you again! ;)
No, the bug doesn't seem to happen anymore - at least I cannot reproduce it with
the 20020531 nightly on WinXP.
As far as I'm conecerned, the status can be changed to FIXED.
