On Flame, the Music app is slower to launch in v2.2 than it was in v2.1.

This is a meta bug for trying to fix that regression.

This is distinct from bug 1082268 because that bug is comparing FirefoxOS to Android, and this bug is comparing two FirefoxOS releases.

Let's use Raptor to investigate the performance issues and here is the information:

Introduction: https://speakerdeck.com/eliperelman/intro-to-raptor
MDN: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Automated_testing/Raptor
Visualization: http://raptor-ui.divshot.io/
And let's use the following commands to test:

0. Switch to your gaia repository folder.
1. |make raptor|
2. |APP=music node tests/raptor/launch_test| with |RUNS=number|

(David has used |RUNS=30| to test so maybe we should just sync with him)
raptor doesn't work on 2.1, does it? I thought it was just backported to 2.2.

No it doesn't. But given that most of the regression seems to be gecko based and not something we can do anything about, our goal here is to do whatever we can to make 2.2 startup faster. So we only really need to compare the 2.2 Music app to itself and make it as fast as we can.
