Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0
Build ID: 20150404130542

Steps to reproduce:

I don't know how to reproduce it.
I'm on Linux.
Linux azerty 3.19.3-3-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Apr 8 14:10:00 CEST 2015 x86_64 GNU/Linux

It seems to happen more often (but not always) when, having a window with lots of tabs/groups tabs , I open another window. Some video playing doesn't seem to help.

Actual results:

2 crashes at short notice:

For some reasons about:crashes doesn't work, it tells me that it's an invalid address.
And doing about:about I don't see any "about:crashes"
(And no crashes in the health report)

I can try to create the traces via gdb if you are interested ?

I'm trying to recompile firefox to get the debug symbols, but I've got an error.
Do you need the debug symbols or can you work without them?

Comment 4

The official Firefox from https://www.mozilla.org/ can send crash reports to a server that has debug symbols.

Humm, you mean that the firefox provided with Archlinux doesn't send crash reports ?

On the Fedora 22 beta, I get apparently the same error. Very consistenly when logging onto a vine.co account. Starts playing and then quickly crashes.

Not sure if related but when attempting to play mp4 or flv movies (but not avi) using totem I get an error:

Other players such as mplayer or vlc work fine.
