From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.6) Gecko/20011123 BuildID: 2001112310 Missed ['s] and ["] (occassionally) in some text, replaced by blank space. But when I highlighted those "blank space", those ['s] & ["] come back. Sometimes change in charater coding reduce the problem. I am using Tradional Chinese Window98. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to that site (www.prudentbear.com) 2. Click articles "Credit Bubble Bulletin-14 Dec" under "Recent Commentaries" Section 3. Charater Coding use "Western(iso-8859-1)" Actual Results: Looking for words including ['s]. On the 3rd paragraph [Standard & Poor's Dec...] would turn to be [Standard & Poor Dec...]. On the article's title [The "Window's Cruse Myth"] turn to be [The idow CruseMyth]. Expected Results: Show the correct punctuation Highligted the empty space would show those missing punctuation and charaters.

WorksForMe with Linux 2001121321. Do you know someone else with a Chinese Win98 version to test as well? Are you seeing this anywhere else?
WFM, using (2001-12-14-05) build under OS X
Today bug 115374 was fixed. I'd say this should fix this bug too. KY Tang, could you try a new nightly (I'd say the fix should show up within the next day or so) and have a look whether this is still an issue? Thank's for testing mozilla.
Just tried Build 2001123103. It works now, so far everything seems ok, thanks.
