Hello Tagalog team,

Marketplace is not FFOS version dependent. It is best to start working on this when there are no other competing demands such as marketing content later on

Please make sure the first two components are completed at all time, as they are end user facing features. Some of these are updated on a regular basis.

Source files in the order or priority:
1) Front End: https://localize.mozilla.org/projects/fireplace/
5) Stat: https://localize.mozilla.org/projects/marketplace_stats/
6) Communication dashboard: https://localize.mozilla.org/projects/commbadge/

When you complete some of the translations, make sure to select the VCS to Commit link so the code is pushed to github.

The progress dashboard: https://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~flod/webstatus/mpstats/

Code push is on Tuesdays.

Thank you,
Peiying

Hi Bob, not sure who else is working on localization project. One needs to register to Verbatim in order to get this started.

I am leading the Tagalog L10n. How do we register to Verbatim?
Flags: needinfo?(pmo)
Hi Bob,

Please register here: https://localize.mozilla.org/accounts/register/. Indicate that you are registering for Tagalog. Also, if you are the lead, you want to register as the admin. If other members can join, they they need to indicate if they are translator, reviewer or admin. We usually assign one person as the admin, and I assume it would be you for Tagalog.

Thank you,
Peiying

Thanks Peiying! Added myself already as "bobreyes"

Where do I indicate that I am registering for Tagalog?

What happens to the work done via http://mozilla.locamotion.org/tl/?
Flags: needinfo?(pmo)
Hi Matjaz,

The registration form doesn't indicate which language a localizer is signing up for. The contact us page is in a message form. Don't know which one is used to sign up on Verbatim/Pootle. Could you help get Bob set up for Tagalog? He will be an admin.

Thanks!

I've granted admin permission for tl to bobreyes:

Thanks! Saw the projects already.

Hi Bob,

These are two different projects. http://mozilla.locamotion.org/tl/firefoxos_2.1/ (2.1 is the one you need to work on) is the product l10n stated in bug 1156455.

For marketplace, the location is as following - you need to select Tagalog to start working on each of the following (correction from the original bug comments).

1) Front End: https://localize.mozilla.org/projects/fireplace/
2) Payments Front End: https://localize.mozilla.org/projects/spartacus/

Thank you.

Thanks @Peiying!

I got this error when trying to commit translations:

Failed to commit to version control: [GIT] push of ('/data/www/localize.mozilla.org/verbatim/pootle_env/Pootle-git/l10n_github_repos/fireplace', 'locale') failed: To git@github.com:mozilla/fireplace.git ! [rejected] master -> master (non-fast-forward) error: failed to push some refs to 'git@github.com:mozilla/fireplace.git' hint: Updates were rejected because the tip of your current branch is behind hint: its remote counterpart. Merge the remote changes (e.g. 'git pull') hint: before pushing again. hint: See the 'Note about fast-forwards' in 'git push --help' for details.

Matjaz, could you take a look of this?
Flags: needinfo?(pmo)
Please add a new translation and then try committing again.
Hi Bob,

I am closing the bug as it is no longer a blocker for market launch. Please do not stop working on this as it also serves on the desktop platform as well.

Thank you,
Peiying
