Steps to reproduce: 1. Start a new FF38 profile and go to about:config 2. Modify the value of extensions.webservice.discoverURL to https://addons.allizom.org/%LOCALE%/firefox/discovery/pane/%VERSION%/%OS% (to set the browser in AMO-stage) 3. Go to browser menu and click Tools->Add-ons 4. Click on any listed add-on Expected results: The add-on details page is loaded. There are no display or layout issues. Actual results: A message appears in a popup window, blocking the user to do anything else. Notes/Issues: Issue is not reproducing if there are no changes made to set the browser in stage or dev. Verified on FF38(Win 7). Issue is reproducing on AMP-stage and AMO-dev. Screencast for this issue: http://screencast.com/t/xHNtmgZa1t
Thanks for reporting the issue, it's now been fixed: it seems it was all because one of the featured (monthly-pick) addon had an icon that was coming from the production cdn (and caused mixed content). Once :jason fixed this icon, everything worked as expected again.
