Steps to reproduce:

I have not determined exact repeatable steps.  1)  Double-click an unread email and view it.  2)  Close the email.  3)  Double click on another email to view it; the previous email is apparently opened.  4)  Close email message.  The highlight is still on the one that should have been opened but was not.  5)  Double click on the intended 2nd email to open; correct message is then opened.

As already stated.


Expected results:

As already stated.  This is particularly bothersome because one could accidentally delete the wrong email message.

really version 36?  or 31.6.0?
does it stop if you right+click folder and pick properties and repair?

My opinion is that this recommendation is irrelevant because it does not pertain to corrupted or missing emails.

I have performed the action as you suggested, but have not tried it by accessing emails subsequently enough to determine whether it fixed anything.  How often do I need to perform this action?  Why is it needed now?  Do you want me to report back to you on results?  Thanks.

repair once only, assess results after a few days, post results. thanks
