Creating pages with trailing slash is often NOT what the user wants to do. Some (many?) of us assume the web server is configured to redirect to the non-trailing-slash version. I believe the user experience would be enhanced by notifying the user if the page they are about to create contains a trailing slash. For example, adding a top paragraph containing: Note: your page request contains a trailing '/'. This is not that common - were you looking for <link to page without /> instead? Use the links below if you really want to create this page, but know that any <link to subpage help> you create will require a double slash ('//') (fwiw, I'm starting to notice in our wiki how many trailing slash pages have been created simply to be a redirect to the no-slash version.)
