Confirming bug. On Linux, I do crash with a 2001-12-13 trunk binary. However, my debug build from 2001-12-16 doesn't load the site, so I can't provide a stack trace of my own. This doesn't look like a JS Engine bug to me. Based on the provided trace, reassigning this to Style System; please reassign as necessary. cc'ing timeless in case he has FreeBSD or a working Linux build, and can provide any further info - thanks.

Bug exist in Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.7+) Gecko/20011219, build 2001121921 It doesn't core dump so I cannot produce another backtrace. Also Mozilla just bombs out an never complains like the FreeBSD one. Is this a GNU libc "feature"?

The thing in those stacks that shows up as |FrameManager::ReParentStyleContext| is really the static function |CaptureChange|.
I can not reproduce this with FreeBSD 4.5 and a mozilla built from today. Is this still an issue?

I'm guessing that http://dhtmlkitchen.com/js/images/preload/preload.html moved to http://dhtmlkitchen.com/js/images/preload/ . The former is 404 and the latter loads fine for me. I still haven't tried on Windows though.
I don't hit the pure virtual in current mozilla branch or trunk on win2k. I suppose I should check Mac...
