From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.6) Gecko/20011120 BuildID: 200112012 When given a basic authentication window to enter a username and password in, the user is unaware of the authenticity of the encryption used (if any) on the remote site. A 'show certificate' button seems appropriate on the username & password dialog.
un/pw is test/test by the way, but if you enter it, you don't get the password pop-up anymore until restarting Mozilla.

A workaround is to click Cancel on the password prompt, then on the lock icon to view the level of encryption and the certificate.
