Flod, this bug includes the Spring Campaign snippets. Note, there's a final portion that is not ready yet. We are waiting for a bit more context from the Mono Agency. I expect about 5 more strings.

Also note that I've included some lines for Reading List, important to note that we are not using the name within the text.

Not sure I follow. The request is to not use "Reading list" anywhere? Why do we have snippets when the feature is on hold?

Can I consider these a one-line string, and use that for the 180 characters limit?

I'll expose these two as separate strings only once. Maximum number of characters allowed for these two labels?

Uh, that's not going to work that much ("swipe" double entendre works only for English).

These don't look like snippets, and I'm pretty sure they're part of other mozilla.org work (send to widget). Do you need them?

Father's day might be in June for US, it's probably not in all other locales you requested (it's March 19 in Italy). Should we drop it?

This language will be on the snippet. We have some similar strings for the send to device widget (copy bug 1146528).

Not sure how easy/hard it is to pull these out and reuse them?
For us it's pretty easy when they're localized on the device widget. In the snippets context they look quite out of place.

May 5th latest.

Today, I'm unclear on whether Pocket will be used and what if any will be ready on June 2. This copy can be used with or without Reading List as long as the functionality is available. Happy to scrap for now and include it with the next set if it DOES in fact play out.

Yes, good idea. That will save time since we are reusing the second line multiple times.

Yes, that sounds good.

Ah, missed that, thanks. Please exclude.

As Cory mentioned, they will be on snippet, but they may also show up on the mozilla.org work, so we may be doubling up. If it's available elsewhere no need to translate here of course. Just need to figure out how I can get them easily.

Yes, let's drop it.

OK. The deadline for those would be still May 25?

But it's clear that Pocket is en-US only, hence my confusion. We can keep the snippets, but we'll probably want something different (less vague) when we actually ship Reading List or Pocket.

Sorry, I probably wasn't clear. My question is: do you need two separate strings, or can I consider "Welcome Apple fans! Firefox is now available for iOS. Email a download link straight to your iPhone or iPad." as one with a 180 characters limit?

I thought about using a separate string for "Email a download link straight to your iPhone or iPad.", but I think we'll end up creating more noise and unnecessary copy and paste.

Still missing the character limit.

If there are no other issues, I should be able to expose the strings tomorrow.

Ideally yes. But we can push them out a few more days if needed, to the 28th.

After further discussion today, I'd like to remove the Reading List snippets. No need to push these out with the campaign.

Please consider them one string, they are meant to be that way.

[28 characters] [25 characters] We may be able to extend the 25 if needed. Please advise if that becomes an issue.

After starting to actually work on the file, I realize we have an issue here.

The desktop widget is supposed to work only for newsletter locale, but these snippets have an earlier deadline, and cover more locales than newsletter (ja, it). I guess I'll add the strings here and have them in both places.
Hi Joanna, we're currently missing only Polish (deadline is today). Can you tell me if someone will be able to work on them, or if we should not include Polish in future requests?
Flags: needinfo?(jmazgaj)
Hi Fabio,
at this point I think we need to exclude Polish, also from further requests until the team finds new people.

Noted. I'll the team know. Thank you Flod.

All the other locales are complete, I assume that we can close this then.
