Build ID: 20150423030204

Steps to reproduce:

This might be related to WARP on Windows. Maybe you need to force WARP to reproduce this.

1. open a new profile
2. Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e/general
3. Do as shown in the video.

Actual results:

The thread icons flicker

Expected results:

not so.

the money shot begins from 5 seconds.

It would be easier to reproduce if you open a new tab, wait on it for 5 seconds, then switch to the given tab, and then do STR.

reporter, are you not able to reproduce with e10s off and/or in release Firefox?

I am unable to reproduce the thread icon flicker on Mac. (though the thread scrolling is choppy in both Nightly and release)

With e10s off, I cant reproduce. (Or atleast it is not visible to the naked eye)

I think this is probably related to bug 1154057

layers.acceleration.force-enabled;true
layers.d3d11.disable-warp;true

by using these options, the flicker is not visible.
Yesterday's nightly experimented with turning on the APZ. Can you retest making sure that layers.async-pan-zoom.enabled is set to false?

Kats this is possibly APZ related
It is set to false. (attached the about:support)

In your about:support you're not using WARP, did you disable it manually?

about:profile for a clean profile.

(the previous one was for my regular profile, which has HWA disabled because of bug 1155530)

BTW, the STR are hard to reproduce now. I had to try for quite some to reproduce them. Mark as resolved?
