Post repo-merge I think we will be able to integrate a sample.local.conf.js setup step, into our RTD Installation, under 'Setting up a local Treeherder instance'
https://treeherder-service.readthedocs.org/en/latest/installation.html
Given the re-arrangement of the repo post-merge, I will create what I believe to be the correct location for the config file and Ed can help me if I'm wrong :)

Perhaps we should hold off until we know the exact structure of the merged repos? We'll need to figure this out soon, so it shouldn't be long :-)

Thinking about this, it shouldn't be required: by default the UI looks to the same domain for the API, even without a config. Therefore when hosting the UI using Vagrant the example config file does not need to be copied over.

Sounds way better :) Marking as wontfix and closing the PR in that case.
