User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:37.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/37.0 Build ID: 20150402191859 Steps to reproduce: Open your GMail account Start composing an email Copy and paste either 1) web page content in HTML format, or 2) Excel spreadsheet data from the source into the email composition window Send the email Actual results: When I pasted the data into the email composition window, it appeared correctly formatted. However, after sending, both the recipient and the Sent folder copies of the email displayed without formatting -- all run together. Expected results: As has been the case for over a decade now, the email should display the same formatting that was observed in the composition window prior to sending, both in the recipient's copy of the email, as well as the copy stored in the Sent folder of the email system.
When I attempt the same procedure using IE, everything works correctly. In fact, I can compose the draft in IE, store it, and then login using Firefox, and then send the draft, and everything works OK. But if I send correctly formatted content using IE, and then reply to it using Firefox, the content's formatting (shown in the email history) is displayed without formatting, proving that the problem is unique to Firefox, and that merely replying to a correctly formatted email in Firefox will corrupt the formatting of previously correct content in the message history.

This is a sample excel file to easily reproduce the paste issue with Firefox content-editable editors. (1) Open spreadsheet and select a range of cells including most of the simple content in the spreadsheet. (2) Copy content to clipboard (3) From a simple web page with content editable div or design mode iframe, paste content. (Try this with IE11 and Edge as well) PROBLEM: Firefox is not parsing the STYLE block in the HEAD section of the HTML placed on the clipboard by Excel.
