I tried to restart hp-health and it would stop. I looked at dmesg and noticed the following:

ACPI Exception: AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT, Evaluating _PMM (20090903/power_meter-342)
audit: audit_lost=2300595 audit_rate_limit=500 audit_backlog_limit=16384
audit: rate limit exceeded
ACPI Error: SMBus or IPMI write requires Buffer of length 66, found length 32 (20090903/exfield-286)
ACPI Error (psparse-0537): Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_.PMI0._PMM] (Node ffff88031ad45ec0), AE_AML_BUFFER_LIMIT

Killed hpasmlited so I was able to restart hp-health.
