From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT 5.0) BuildID: 20011205 The Front-End test http://www.mozilla.org/quality/browser/front- end/testcases/composer/composer-menus.html seems to indicate that after you open, modify, and save a document, that you should see it listed in "Recent Pages". I cannot see the currently opened doc listed in "Recent pages". Also, when I open a new document (where I can see the other doc listed in "Recent Pages") and I select the other doc, it does not open the doc in the current window. It brings forward the previous window with the doc still open. I think these 2 issues are not a problem with Mozilla, but maybe the test could be re-written to make it clearer. In both cases, if you exit from the current composer window before you attempt to see/select something from "Recent Pages", then everything works fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Follow steps in http://www.mozilla.org/quality/browser/front- end/testcases/composer/composer-menus.html specificly test: File Recent Pages Open a document into the editor or blank page Make a change to the document Pull-down File | Save Verify that the document is in the Recent Pages menu Open a new document Pull-down File | Recent Pages Select the document you saved above Verify that the previous document you saved is loaded into this new window Repeat for multiple documents/windows Actual Results: 1) Don't see currently saved page in "Recent Pages" unless you exit first 2) 1st window pops-up instead of having the page load into the new composer window. Expected Results: if test said to exit before open/select something from "Recent Pages", then test would work fine. If this test was written to make sure you could see the current page listed in "Recent Pages" after a save, then this is an "real" bug and not a doc bug. Also, if opening another composer window and selecting the same page that is already opened in the first composer window is suppose result in having 2 composer windows opened to the same page, then this is a "real" bug and not a doc bug. I'll let the test writter determine if these are real issues or not.
I'll need to update the test cases...
accepting QA for mozilla developer docs. some of these bugs have been around for a _long_ time. Reporters, would you please review the bugs, see if the issues have been resolved, and close bugs appropriately. I will do a full review of all bugs not touched in one week (8th April). Thanks. </spam>
