Build ID: 20150415140819
Firefox for Android

Steps to reproduce:

using height in VH units, loading the page does not show the correct height. rotating the phones orientation one way and then the other then shows the correct height you set by using VH. its as if it does not see the unit of measure in time for the page initially render

Actual results:

Elements render ignoring the height: #vh;

Expected results:

the element should render the correct height setting on initial load.

Please provide a sample of the page that is causing issue. If your page is not a mobile designed page Font Inflation may be tripping you up. See http://jwir3.wordpress.com/2012/07/30/font-inflation-fennec-and-you/

In the Firefox settings > Display > text size > press small a several times and then set. Reload the page, this may correct the issue. Tiny will be the default in Firefox 40.

changing font size didn't seam to make any difference. here are two examples.
http://topsnobs.com/ - This one has the homepage banner image set to vh100%
http://atplive.com/ - This one has a slider using vh80%

load either of them in portrait mode then with rotate set on your device turn it to landscape and back to portrait and you will see the correct height! tested this on a few separate devices with the same result.

how do we get this confirmed, I'm seeing this issue all over the place as VH becomes more popular
Hi,

Can you still reproduce the issue?

Thank you!

Taking into consideration Comment 5, I will close this issue as Works for me.
