From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:0.9.6+) Gecko/20011217 BuildID: 2001121703 I have just noticed that the URL is not shown when I am checking my mail on yahoo.com.au. There is nothing other than the Yahoo favicon in the URL window. The same applies when a new window is opened for whatever story I wish to read. I have clicked back and forward but nothing appears for any page Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to yahoo mail 2. sign in 3. check mail Actual Results: everything works, its just that there is no URL shown in URL bar Expected Results: to see the URL of the page I am reading I cannot reproduce this on other mail sites

it looks like tab browsing sometimes doesn't update the URL after page load.. it worked fine in a build or two before today.. not sure which build.. but opening a URL in a new tab, and after a load.. will not update URL bar till after switching from an open tab already and back again.. the URL bar gets painted.
I have also noticed that the first window which opens when going online often has something wrong with it. It may be that security does not work, or the page will not load, or loads improperly. There may be no URL, or links do not work. Usually all that is required is to close then reopen Mozilla, which then works correctly.

I've just seen this today with build 2002053104 on Windows 98. I had opened a new window and browsed to a site (http://www.teletext.co.uk/tvplus/nownext.asp?High=3) using a bookmark on the Personal Toolbar. After looking at a couple of pages I noticed that the URL bar was blank, so I tried to enter a URL of a different site (entered "www.storagereview.com") and pressed Enter. During the entry of the URL, the autocomplete did not function (no drop-down list or autofill). Upon pressing Enter Mozilla proceeded to reload the current page instead of trying to load the entered URL. Browsing to a different bookmark worked, but still did not update the URL bar (still showing "www.storagereview.com"). I have not been able to reproduce this yet, however.
I have noted the same problem for some time now on RC3. It does not appear to be reproduceable at the time, but occurs later. This is one of those problems with the first window that opens that I attempted to report some time ago.

Not since Phoenix 0.5, and whatever that equates to in Mozilla.
