User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Mobile; rv:32.0) Gecko/32.0 Firefox/32.0
Build ID: 20141016183911
Steps to reproduce:
As I do in Email App of Android, I tried to copy email text from the Email App in Firefox OS 2.0.0.0, by long pressing on the text to be copied.
Actual results:
Actually, nothing happened, long pressing on text neither highlighted the text to copy nor showed any option to copy text from the email
Expected results:
By long pressing on text, it should higlight the text to be copied or should show the options, whether to copy whole text in the email or only the part of the text that we select.
This basic feature is avaiable in almost all Email Apps on Android OS like in Email App, Outlook, Gmail or Inbox by Gmail.
I think this feature must be added to Email App of fxOS too, so to make it more user-friendly.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug to try and help improve Firefox OS! Good news: This has been implemented by the platform and in various places in the email app. Bad news: This is as of v2.2, and I know that depending on the device it can be extremely hard or even impossible to upgrade the device :(.
There's still more for us to do with HTML message bodies, but it generally works. Bug 1023688 is the meta bug for copy/paste, and you can see the dependency tree from there (shortcut link: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/showdependencytree.cgi?id=1023688&hide_resolved=0). Bug 1142316 covers the HTML body issue for email.

Thank You :)
I just saw a bug related to email body text copying and I find out a css property is blocking the pointer from copying text in body of email.
If this problem has been debugged, is there any way to update Flame to fxOS 2.2?

Flame is among the easiest to upgrade! Please see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Phone_guide/Flame/Updating_your_Flame
Current trunk/master/v3.0 also includes copy/paste, but may be less stable to use, so you might want to stick with v2.2.
