Steps to reproduce:

Open browser;
Visit a Wikipedia article;
Search for a word/phrase, like "banana";


Actual results:

Ctrl+F then Enter will not search for the input text.
Instead, it looks for the word "test".


Expected results:

Should search for the word I input, not "test"

For your example in the screenshot, Firefox 37 displays "more than 100 matches here" so it is extremely unlikely that this is a problem in Firefox itself.

Does the problem still happen if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? (Safe Mode disables extensions and themes, hardware acceleration and some JavaScript stuff in order to exclude some possible reasons for problems. It does not disable plugins which are add-ons.) It did not happen after starting in Safe Mode. It also disappeared after I created a new profile and disabled the safe mode.
