Android Lollipop has a new JobScheduler service designed to make it easy to do some of the things we do ourselves. For instance, downloading updates or cleaning up storage. You can say "Run this job when the phone is idle, on wifi, and charging".

It would be nice to look into how hard it would be to use it for us. We might have to write a compat layer on top though...
