Steps to reproduce:

1. Start any screen filling program.
2. Start Thunderbird.
3. End thunderbird clickin close button.


Actual results:

The underlaying window contains rests of TB window.


Expected results:

The underlaying window should be refreshed with it's normal content.

Does not happen on my Linux system.
Does it happen with version 38 beta from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all-beta.html ?
If it doesn, does it go away if you uncheck Hardware Assist at tools | options | advanced | general ?

It also happens with version 38, but the left over is much smaller (see new attachment).
The problem disappears after unchecking 'Use hardware acceleration ...'.

Version 45.1 should be available in a couple weeks. Check for an update in a couple weeks and let us know how it goes.
