User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_10_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/42.0.2311.90 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Account setup using POP. Set the download limit to 50kb. Set filter to move message from inbox to another folder (foo) if the subject starts with 'foo'.
Send email (from somewhere) to user with an image attachment (larger than 50k) with foo as subject.
Retreive message. Select folder foo. See that message is there, click on 'download the rest'.

Actual results:

The message is blanked and the message is not displayed.

If you move the message into Inbox, and try again, then it works.

Expected results:

The message should replace the truncated message.

Rob does this also fail for you?
Seems like we would have other bugs on file for this if it does.

Hi Wayne,

Yes.

  • the big mail arrives and is sorted. I can see the text and the message that the mail is truncated, and if I want to download the full mail.
  • I press the link that should allow me to download the rest
  • the mail is blank now, the text I saw is disappeared, but I see that there is an attachment (paperclip in the list view, didn't see that before). The attachment, however, doesn't show up anywhere (the mail is completely blank)
  • contrary to what the bug above says, there seems to be no solution, I can move the message back to inbox but it remains blank and I have no way to try again.

This is with 60.8.0 (32-bits) on Windows 10 Pro

Severity: normal → S3

What is expected behavior if a message has been moved?

I think I commented in a similar bug a few days ago, download the rest still worked for me after a filter moving a partial message to another folder.
